Rev. Cheryl Russell Kunkel is a native of Indiana and a lifelong member of the Disciples of Christ. She serves as Associate Regional Minister in the Christian Church in Indiana. Her work includes staffing the Region’s Faith Formation Commission, Indiana Women’s Council, and clergy care and support.
Cheryl has a Bachelor of Education degree from Eureka College and taught middle school for several years before following a call into ministry. She has a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School and was ordained in 2013 at Zionsville Christian Church. She has served congregations in Indiana and Kentucky. Cheryl and her husband, Eric live in Avon.
